Seat Cordoba Passenger Electric Seat Problem

I have a head-scratcher with my 2007 Seat Cordoba diesel. The passenger electric seat has stopped responding. VCDS is showing an error, and seat adjustment is impossible. I've checked fuses, and they seem fine. Could a discharged or defective battery cause this issue?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with the power seats in my Cordoba. Is the battery delivering consistent voltage? Modern cars can throw up weird errors if the battery is failing.

You had the same seat adjustment issue? Was it also the passenger seat? Did replacing the battery completely resolve it, or were there other things involved, like checking the seat harness?

Same symptoms exactly. Passenger seat. A new battery fixed it. Though, I'd recommend having a workshop run a proper diagnostic to be sure, in case there's something else going on with the electric seat itself.

The issue was battery related. After replacement, the error cleared and the passenger electric seat now works perfectly. The seat harness is fine. The workshop visit cost 290€, but the problem is solved. Thanks for the help.
