Seat Cordoba Suspension Problem

I have a 2005 Seat Cordoba with a gasoline engine and 57812 km. I'm experiencing a car damping issue: there's an error stored in the error memory, a warning light on the speedometer, and the ride is bumpy. Could a defective cable or plug connection really be the cause of this vehicle suspension problem, affecting the car handling and ride comfort?

I had a similar suspension issue with my Cordoba. Check the cable and plug connections to the damping adjustment components. A defective connection can cause these symptoms.

Thanks for your reply. Can you be more specific about which cable and plug connections I should check? Is there a common location where the problem usually occurs?

Yes, it's likely the connections. I experienced the same. Check the ones directly at the damping units themselves, front and rear. If that doesn't solve it, a visit to a workshop might be necessary.

Thanks for the confirmation. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be a faulty plug connection, just like you said. The repair cost was 95€. Now the car damping works as expected, and the ride comfort is back.
