Seat Cordoba throttle issue

My 2001 Seat Cordoba with a gasoline engine is having some issues. It feels like the throttle response is delayed and the check engine light is on. I think the throttle valve might be defective, maybe the accelerator pedal module or the electronics inside. I've done some research and it seems like a possibility. Mileage is at 112828 km.

Sounds like the same problem I had with my Cordoba. The engine response delay was driving me crazy. Is the engine idling rough?

Yeah, the engine idling is all over the place. What did you do to fix it? Was it expensive?

Yep, sounds exactly like my issue. It's probably the throttle body. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it checked out properly. They'll be able to diagnose it for sure.

Thanks for your help. I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the throttle valve. The replacement cost was 265€. Hopefully my fuel efficiency will improve now.
