Seat Cordoba Washer System Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Seat Cordoba diesel experienced a failure in both the headlight cleaning and windshield washer systems. Despite checking the fuses, the issue persisted. The problem was suspected to be linked to shared components between the systems, such as the pump or relay. Upon inspection by a mechanic, a corroded cable connection at the headlight cleaning system pump was identified and repaired, resolving the issue.

Where exactly should I be looking for the pump and relay? I'm not very familiar with the system's layout. And yes, the LEDs in the headlights are working fine.

The pump and relay are likely near the washer fluid reservoir. Given both systems are affected and the LEDs work, it points towards a pump or relay issue, or a defective cable. I recommend a workshop visit for a proper diagnosis.

I got the Seat back. The mechanic found a corroded cable connection at the headlight cleaning system pump, like you thought. It cost 165€ to fix. Everything's working again, even the windshield washer system. Thanks for your help!

A faulty headlight cleaning system can affect the windshield washer system if they share components. Check the hose connections to the pump and relay. Are your headlight LEDs working correctly?
