Seat Exeo Bluetooth Pairing Problem

I am experiencing an issue with my 2009 Seat Exeo diesel. The car has 60417 km on the clock. I am facing function restrictions; specifically, my smartphone is unable to connect to the car's system. An error is stored in the error memory, and I suspect an incorrect pairing with the end device may be the cause. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

That's odd. I had something similar happen with my Exeo. The phone connection was all over the place. Did you check if other devices are facing the same malfunction, or is it just your smartphone? Also, have you tried a different phone to rule out compatibility issues?

Thanks for the swift response. Other devices show the same behavior, so I guess the phone itself is not the issue. Did the malfunction affect any other systems like suspension, steering, brakes, or the ignition system?

Right, if it's happening with multiple devices, it's definitely the car. Mine did the same thing, but luckily, it didn't mess with the more important stuff like the suspension, steering, or brakes. The ignition system was fine too. Honestly, just get the error codes read at a workshop; it’s usually something simple.

Appreciate the input. Took it to a local workshop, and they found the stored error related to an incorrect Bluetooth pairing procedure. They cleared the memory and re-paired my phone. Total cost was 45€. Everything seems to be working as it should now.
