Thanks for the reply. When you say radio signal, do you mean the actual radio reception was bad? Or was it specifically affecting the central locking and keyless start? And regarding the antenna mount, where exactly is that located? Is it easy to access and inspect visually?

From what you're describing, it sounds similar to what I experienced. It was affecting the central locking and keyless start, not the radio itself, now that I recall. I didn't do much troubleshooting myself; I just took it to a workshop. If you're not comfortable poking around, I'd suggest doing the same, it could save you time and potential further issues.

Took the Exeo to a workshop, and they confirmed the bumper antenna was the problem, as I thought. The cable and plug connection were bad. The antenna repair cost 95€, including parts and labor. Everything's working now; remote locking/unlocking is back, and the keyless start issue is gone. Thanks for your help.

That's a weird one. I have a Seat Exeo too, and I recall having similar symptoms a while back. Though, my memory is hazy, I think it had something to do with the radio signal. I'm not sure if it's the same, but did you check the antenna mount? Maybe it's corroded or loose?
