Interesting. Was it also the water sensor giving you trouble, or a different sensor fault? And did you notice any specific conditions that triggered it, like after washing the car?

Yes, it was the water sensor, if I remember correctly. It might be worth checking the sensor itself, but in my case, I suspected an electrical fault and decided to take it to the workshop for proper car diagnostics. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thank you for the information. I had the car diagnostics done, and it seems the water sensor's cable was indeed defective. The electrical fault was repaired for 95€. Hopefully, this resolves the rough engine running and the check engine light.

I had a similar issue with my Exeo, though I can't recall the exact error code. The check engine light was on, and the engine seemed a bit off. It could be related to auto electronics and moisture affecting the sensor.
