Thanks for the quick response! I haven't replaced the battery yet. I was hoping it was something else, to be honest. So, you're saying a simple battery replacement solved the issue for you? And yes, the spare key works fine.

Yeah, it sounds exactly like what happened to me. Since the spare key works, it pretty much confirms the battery in your primary car key is dead. You could try replacing it yourself, but honestly, I'd just go to a shop. They will replace the auto key battery and clear the error code. Plus, they should know how to properly open the key fob without damaging it. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind, you know?

Great news, it was indeed the key battery. A simple battery replacement did the trick, and everything is working perfectly again. Cost me 37€ at the shop. Thanks a lot for your help!

Hey there! I had a similar problem with my Exeo, although I can't remember the exact mileage at the time. Keyless entry stopped working, and I got that annoying 'key battery low' message. It's almost certainly the fob battery. Have you tried replacing it yet? It's a common issue. Just curious, does the spare key work properly?
