Thanks for the quick reply. Regarding the coil pack, is there a specific method to test the connections, or is it more of a visual inspection for corrosion and loose fittings? Also, the check engine light is indeed on.

Visual inspection is a good start. Look for damaged wires or loose connections. Since the check engine light is on, it's almost certainly a misfire. You can try swapping the ignition coil to another cylinder to see if the misfire follows. But honestly, with those symptoms, a workshop visit for a diagnostic scan is probably the most efficient way to pinpoint the exact issue. Good luck.

It seems the likely culprit was indeed a defective ignition coil, or rather, the cable leading to it. A replacement, along with labor, set me back 95€. Engine is running smoothly again. Thanks for the advice.

Rough running and stalling could be due to a misfire. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Check the coil pack and spark plugs. A faulty connection can cause these symptoms. Has the check engine light illuminated?
