Seat Formentor ABS and Steering Issues

Interesting about the tire sensor messing things up... I've only checked the pressures using the car's display. If it is the sensor, would that explain the power steering issue too? Is it all connected?

Yup, absolutely connected! The ABS system relies on wheel speed sensors, and a faulty tire sensor can feed incorrect data, which then throws everything else off – including the power steering assist in some cases. I'd bet money on a faulty tire sensor or a slow air leak due to a defective valve causing pressure loss. Honestly, with those symptoms, get it to a workshop ASAP. They can diagnose the tire sensor and valve properly. Driving with faulty ABS and dodgy steering is not fun.

Just to let you know, you were right! I took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a faulty valve in the tire. A new valve, tire re-mounted and balanced, and the pressure loss and warnings are gone. Cost me 280€, but at least it's sorted. Thanks a million for your help!

Whoa, that's a weird combo of symptoms! I had something similar happen with my old BMW. I kept getting low tire pressure warnings, but then the ABS light came on, and the steering felt all wonky. Turns out a dodgy tire sensor was messing with the whole system. Have you checked each tire individually with a tire gauge to confirm the pressure loss and rule out a simple puncture?
