Thanks, that’s helpful. How did you figure out which control unit was the problem? Is there a way to diagnose it myself without special tools?

Yeah, the dealer diagnosed mine. Unfortunately, without specialized diagnostic tools that can read the MOST bus data, it's pretty difficult to pinpoint the faulty unit yourself. The system uses fiber optics to transmit data, so you can't just use a multimeter. Best bet is to take it to a workshop that knows car electronics and has the right equipment.

Thanks for the help. Took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty amplifier in the MOST bus. Replaced it, and everything's working again. Cost me around 1000€, as expected.

I had a similar issue with my Seat Ateca. The audio just cut out, and the navigation was useless. It turned out to be a problem with the MOST bus, which handles the fiber optics network for the car electronics. Have you checked the fuses related to the audio system? Also, you might want to get a diagnostic scan to pinpoint the exact control unit causing the problem. It could save you time and money in the long run.
