Seat Formentor Hybrid Air Suspension Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Seat Formentor hybrid is experiencing issues with its air suspension, including an inability to lift, a noticeable lean to one side, and a bumpy ride. The problem is linked to a fault in the air suspension bellows valve, which is confirmed by error messages. The recommended solution is to replace the faulty valve, as repair is not cost-effective, with a repair cost of approximately 590€.

The leaning is more noticeable after it's been parked overnight. I haven't been able to spot any visible damage to the bags themselves, but I'll definitely listen for hissing sounds near each wheel. If it is the air suspension bag valve, is replacement the only option?

Yeah, the overnight leaning is a strong indicator of a small air leak, most likely in the valve itself. Replacement is generally the best course of action with those. Trying to repair a valve on the air suspension isn't usually cost-effective, and might not even be possible. I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop to confirm, but it does sound like you've correctly diagnosed the suspension failure.

The workshop confirmed the defective air suspension bellows valve. The ride height fault is resolved. Total cost was around 590€, as suspected. Thanks for your insights!

Sounds like a classic air suspension failure! Does the leaning happen consistently, or only after the car sits for a while? Have you tried visually inspecting the air suspension bags themselves for any obvious signs of damage or heard any hissing sounds, which could indicate an air leak?
