Seat Formentor Hybrid Battery Drain Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Seat Formentor hybrid is experiencing significant battery drain, with symptoms including error messages, weak and flickering lights, and a weak engine start. The issue is suspected to be related to the battery sensor. A similar case was resolved by replacing a defective battery sensor, which restored normal function to the vehicle's electrical system. It is recommended to have the battery and electrical system checked at a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair.

Interesting. So, did cleaning the battery terminals fix it for you? Or was there more to it than that?

Cleaning the terminals didn't solve the problem. The issue was a defective battery sensor causing excessive battery drain. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop. They'll be able to properly diagnose the vehicle battery and electrical system.

Just wanted to let you know that you were right. Took it to the shop, they confirmed the battery sensor was defective. New sensor installed and the electrical system is behaving normally again. Cost me 315€. Thanks for the help!

I have a Formentor as well, though I'm not sure of the year. I experienced something similar not too long ago. Error messages popping up, lights acting strange. Did you check the battery terminals for corrosion? That was my first thought.
