Seat Formentor Hybrid Sensor Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Seat Formentor hybrid is experiencing multiple sensor-related issues, including error messages related to the fog sensor, non-functional air conditioning, freezing spray nozzles, and inactive mirror heating. The core problem is suspected to be a defective cable or plug connection affecting the windshield fogging and humidity sensor, which in turn impacts the climate control and other sensors. A similar issue was resolved by checking the humidity sensor near the windshield, and professional diagnosis is recommended to address the problem effectively.

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you please provide more details on how you diagnosed the issue and which steps you took to resolve it? Did you have to replace the entire sensor or was it just a connection problem?

I didn't diagnose it myself, to be honest. I just noticed the climate control was acting up and the windshield was constantly fogging. My local garage identified the faulty humidity sensor. I recommend getting it checked by a professional. It could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's reassuring to hear someone else had a similar problem. I've booked an appointment with my local workshop; they quoted me approximately 95€ for checking the cable and plug connection of the component. Hopefully, this resolves all the issues.

I had a similar issue with my Formentor. The symptoms you describe sound very familiar. Did you check the humidity sensor near the windshield? That was the culprit in my case.
