No unusual noises that I can recall, and I never tried to force it manually. Was your issue also related to the motor, and did you get an error message in the system?

Yes, in my case, the error log pointed to a faulty motor within the sunblind mechanism. The symptoms you describe align with what I experienced. While it might seem early for such a failure, these components are susceptible to wear and tear. I would recommend having it diagnosed by a qualified technician to confirm the issue before proceeding with any repairs. This will ensure accurate diagnosis and avoid unnecessary expenses.

Took it to the workshop as suggested. Diagnosis was a defective sunblind motor, just as suspected. The interior accessory is working perfectly again. The car blind replacement set me back 330€. Thanks for your help!

Interesting issue. I seem to recall encountering a similar problem with my Seat Formentor. The car sunshade would only retract partially, and then stop. Did you notice any unusual noises when operating the sun visor before it failed completely? Also, was there any indication of increased resistance when trying to move it manually?
