Thanks for the quick reply. You mentioned checking the damper connections. Could you elaborate on how to best access and inspect these connections on the Seat Formentor? Are there any specific tools or precautions I should be aware of before attempting this?

Yes, your symptoms definitely point to a connection issue within the suspension system. Given your intermediate expertise, you could try to locate and inspect the connections, but without proper tools and knowledge, you risk damaging something. The eventual repair cost is relatively low, so going to a workshop might be a good idea.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions and for the suggestion. I followed your advice and visited my local garage. As suspected, it was a faulty plug connection on the adaptive damper. They cleaned the contacts and secured the plug properly. The error was cleared, and the warning light is gone. The ride is now smooth again. The total cost was indeed 95€ as initially estimated.

Sounds like a classic vehicle suspension issue with the damping control. Given the error message and bumpy ride, the cable or plug connection issue is highly probable. Have you checked the connections to the dampers themselves? Sometimes they become loose or corroded.
