Seat Heater Problem

A 2005 Renault SM3 has a seat heater problem where it doesn't warm up, and an error code is stored. The suspected cause is a faulty heating mat. After checking the fuse and considering wiring issues, it is confirmed that the heating mat is indeed the problem. A repair quote of 390€ has been provided for replacing the mat.

Fuse is fine. Anything else it could be before I assume it's the mat itself?

Could be wiring, but a faulty mat is most likely given the error code. Maybe best to have a shop confirm before replacing it.

Faulty heating mat sounds right. Have you checked the fuse?
