Seat Ibiza Air Suspension Problem

Thanks for the reply. When I say leaning, the car was noticeably lower on one side, especially at the rear. I haven't done any pressure tests myself, as I don't have the equipment. Just read the error code with a generic OBD reader. Didn't see any obvious damage to the shock absorber, but I wasn't really looking that closely to be honest.

Given the additional information, it does sound increasingly like a defective bellows valve, which could cause suspension failure. The leaning is a strong indicator. However, without proper diagnostic equipment, pinpointing the exact failure point is challenging. Given the complexity of modern suspension systems, I would suggest taking it to a reputable workshop for a professional assessment before replacing any parts. It could save you money in the long run. The air suspension system has to be checked properly.

Cheers for the help. Took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the bellows valve on the air suspension. Cost me 590€ to get sorted. At least it's riding smoothly again now.

Interesting issue. I had a similar problem with my Ibiza's suspension system, although it presented slightly differently. When you mention 'leaning,' can you quantify that? Also, have you conducted a thorough diagnostic check beyond just reading the error codes? The bellows valve itself is part of a complex pneumatic circuit; therefore, a pressure test of the entire air suspension system might provide more specific insight. Finally, have you visually inspected the shock absorber for any physical damage?
