Seat Ibiza Alarm Malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Seat Ibiza with a diesel engine experienced a malfunction in the anti-theft alarm system, with an error stored in the error memory and the alarm not functioning. The issue was identified as incorrect coding of the alarm system, which caused the indicators to activate upon locking. The problem was resolved by recoding the system.

I did check the battery, seems fine. Where would I find those specific error codes? Any idea?

The error codes should be accessible via an OBD2 scanner. You can buy one, or most workshops will read it out for you. It's possible it's a simple battery issue or a bad connection somewhere. If it's throwing codes related to the alarm system, it might be worth taking it to a workshop that knows these systems. It could be a coding issue, but I'm only guessing.

The alarm system was incorrectly coded, causing the indicators to activate upon locking. A recoding fixed the problem. The fix was 45€.

Interesting problem. I also have an Ibiza. A similar thing happened to me a while back, but it seemed to be related to a power failure. Did you check the battery? It could also be the immobilizer acting up. Does the error memory give you any specific codes relating to the alarm control unit?
