Seat Ibiza Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Seat Ibiza experienced a complete failure of the central locking system, with diagnostic results indicating a defective cable or connector. A similar issue was resolved by checking the connector to the door lock actuator, particularly the wiring loom where it enters the door from the A pillar, a common area for damage. The problem was ultimately fixed by a workshop, confirming a faulty connector, restoring the central locking functionality.

Cheers for the reply. The key fob battery is new and the remote locking doesn't work either. Where was the issue on your Ibiza?

Indeed. The issue was with the connector to the door lock actuator itself. Check the wiring loom where it enters the door from the A pillar, as it's a common point for chafing and damage. However, if you are getting error codes it's probably best to have a workshop inspect the connectors. They'll have the proper diagnostic tools to pinpoint the fault.

That's sorted it! The workshop confirmed it was a dodgy connector. 95€ and now the central locking is working again. Thanks for your help!

I had a similar issue with my Ibiza, although I didn't get any errors in the memory. Have you checked the key fob battery? Also, does the keyless entry work at all?
