I appreciate your help. As suspected, it was indeed a defective connection at the automotive sensor. The temp sensor was replaced, and the cable was repaired. Total cost: 95€.

Thank you for the suggestion. The oil level is fine, I checked that already. The oil pressure warning lamp lights up as well. I suspect a faulty engine oil temperature sensor. Any idea how to check the cable or plug connection?

That sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. The oil gauge was acting up, and I got an error message. Have you checked the oil level itself? Sometimes a low oil level can trigger false warnings.
