Seat Ibiza Emergency Call System Error

My 2019 Seat Ibiza with a gasoline engine is throwing up an error about the emergency call system. There's an error message in the speedometer, a warning light, and the error memory is storing the fault. I read online it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Seat Ibiza owner reported an error with the emergency call system, indicated by a message on the speedometer and a warning light. The issue was suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection. Another individual with a similar experience suggested it might be a connection issue with the telematics unit. The problem was resolved by a workshop, confirming it was indeed a faulty connection in the telematics system.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had something similar happen with my Ibiza too. Is the error message always on, or does it come and go?

The error message and the warning light are constantly on. It's been like this for about a week now. Did yours do the same thing?

Yeah, mine was a constant error too. It ended up being a connection issue with the telematics unit. I'd recommend getting it checked out by a workshop, they should be able to diagnose it pretty quickly.

Took the Ibiza to the shop, and you were spot on it was a faulty connection in the telematics system. 95€ later, the emergency call system is working again. Thanks for your help!
