Seat Ibiza engine fault

I am writing to inquire about a perplexing issue I am experiencing with my 2015 Seat Ibiza, equipped with a gasoline engine, currently showing 89417 km. The primary symptom is that the engine intermittently fails to start. Furthermore, on occasion, the engine abruptly shuts off while in operation, and there have been instances of rough engine running. I suspect an issue with the car electronics, potentially related to the ignition switch. Is there perhaps a defective fuse present in the ignition system that I am overlooking? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I drive an Ibiza as well. Had similar issues. Does it happen right after you key turn the car ignition?

When you say 'similar issues', do you mean the engine cut out completely while driving too? And did you also notice if any dashboard lights were acting up?

Yes exactly, same problem with the car ignition. I got stranded once. Take it to a workshop, they will know what to do.

Just wanted to let you know: it was indeed the ignition switch fuse. A measly 52€ later, and my Ibiza is purring again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
