Seat Ibiza engine trouble

My 2013 Seat Ibiza with a gasoline engine has a problem. The check engine light is on, it stalls at idle, and has reduced power. I think it's the rail pressure sensor signal. Could a defective pressure sensor cause these symptoms?

I had a similar issue with my Ibiza, although it's not the same year. Check engine light, stalling, and power loss sound familiar. Was it a diesel engine? Did you check the fuel pressure?

Fuel pressure was within spec at higher RPM, but fluctuated wildly at idle. Did yours do the same? Where was your pressure sensor located?

Yes, those were the exact symptoms I experienced. The erratic fuel pressure at idle is a strong indicator. I suggest you have it checked at a workshop. A faulty pressure sensor can definitely cause those issues.

Took it to the shop. You were right, the fuel pressure sensor was faulty. They replaced it, and the check engine light is off. Runs like new. Total cost was 240€.
