Seat Ibiza Handsfree Microphone Problem

Thanks for the quick response! I have checked the Bluetooth settings on my phone multiple times, and the Ibiza is still paired. I also tried it with my wife's phone, and it's the same issue. The Bluetooth connects, but the microphone doesn't seem to work. Do you think it could still be a software problem, or is it more likely a hardware issue with the audio system?

Yeah, if you've tried multiple phones, it definitely points to a car issue. And since you're getting an error code, a simple reset probably won't fix it. I'd say your workshop's diagnosis of a defective infotainment system is likely correct. In my case, with the Megane, it was a hardware failure. So, is it worth trying to fix it yourself? Probably not. Bite the bullet and get it repaired.

Many thanks for your help! I took it to the workshop as you suggested. Turns out the infotainment system was indeed defective. They replaced it, and now the Bluetooth and microphone work perfectly again. Cost me 815€, ouch! But at least I can make calls hands-free again. I really appreciate you sharing your experience!

That's a bummer! Sounds similar to an issue I had with my old Renault Megane. The audio input just died. Have you checked the Bluetooth settings on your phone to make sure the Ibiza is still paired? Also, have you tried a different phone to see if it's the car or your device?
