Yeah, the vehicle sensor in the tailgate itself. Honestly, I'd get it checked. Error memory sounds serious. Probably best to go to the workshop.

Sounds like a pain. I had a similar open tailgate problem with my Ibiza. Was also a vehicle sensor issue. Could be the sensor wiring.
