Seat Ibiza Tailgate Hall Sensor Fault

My 2020 Seat Ibiza with a gasoline engine is throwing a tailgate hall sensor fault code. The automatic tailgate doesn't open completely. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection.

Sounds like a pain. I had a similar open tailgate problem with my Ibiza. Was also a vehicle sensor issue. Could be the sensor wiring.

Yeah, the vehicle sensor in the tailgate itself. Honestly, I'd get it checked. Error memory sounds serious. Probably best to go to the workshop.
