Seat Ibiza Windshield Washer Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Seat Ibiza owner experienced a 'windshield washer fluid low' warning light and a non-functional windshield washer system. The issue was suspected to be either an electrical fault or a problem with the spray jets. However, it was suggested to first check the washer fluid level. Upon inspection, the reservoir was found to be empty, and refilling it resolved the issue, clearing the warning light and restoring the system's functionality.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where is the reservoir located? I'm kinda new to this. And yeah the windshield washer system doesn't work when i try to use it. Could it really be that simple?

Yep, could be that simple. The reservoir is usually under the hood, often near the windshield. Look for a cap with a windshield wiper symbol on it. If it's empty, that's likely your culprit. If topping it off doesn't fix it, then you might need to visit a workshop to get the error memory cleared or to check the pump or the spray jets.

You were spot on. It was just the windshield washer fluid level. Topped it up, and the dashboard light went off. Windshield cleaning works again and the error is gone. 25€ for the fluid. Thanks for the help.

Sounds familiar. Had the same thing happen in my old Renault Megane. Check the level of your windshield washer fluid. The warning light can be super sensitive. Is the windshield washer actually spraying when you try to use it?
