Seat Inca central locking problem

The door switch seems fine, and the other electrics are working. Is there a way to test the contact signal directly, perhaps with a multimeter? I'm trying to avoid a costly visit to the workshop if possible.

Given that the other electrics in the door are functioning, and you've visually inspected the switch, it's likely the contact signal itself. While you could test with a multimeter, accessing the correct wires and interpreting the readings can be tricky without the proper schematics. It might be a wise move to have a workshop diagnose the electrical issue to prevent further complications.

Took it to the workshop this morning. As you suspected, the cable to the door latch was indeed faulty. 95€ later, and the central locking is working again. Thanks for the insight!

A faulty door contact signal on a Seat Inca can indeed cause issues with the automatic locks. Before diving into complex diagnostics, have you checked the door switch itself? Sometimes, it's just a matter of cleaning the contact points. Also, are all other electrical functions in the door working correctly, such as the window and speaker?
