Seat Inca Diesel Stalling and Power Loss

I've got this Seat Inca diesel. Recently, the check engine light came on, and the engine sometimes stalls at idle. Also feels like it has less power than usual. I just changed the fuel filter, so I'm wondering if I messed something up there. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Inca. Check engine light was on and the engine had a rough idle. Could be the fuel pump or the pressure sensor in the fuel system.

Thanks for the quick response! When you had that rough idle, did the engine also stall sometimes? And did it happen more when the engine was cold or hot?

Yes, the engine stalled at idle sometimes, especially when cold. I would get it checked at a workshop. They will check the fuel system's pressure sensor. In my case, replacing it solved the rough idle and check engine light.

Took it to a mechanic and you were spot on. It was the fuel pressure regulator, error code must have triggered after I changed the fuel filter. New one cost me 45€ fitted. Runs like a dream now. Thanks for the help!
