Seat Inca temperature display and engine issue
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Seat Inca owner reported issues with the temperature display, a check engine light, and slow engine warming. The problem was suspected to be related to radiator blockage or engine cooling issues, possibly due to a defective fuse. After checking for obstructions in the cooling grille and considering professional inspection, the issue was resolved by replacing a defective fuse.

Cooling grille obstructions, you say? Where exactly should I be looking? And what kind of obstructions are we talking about?

The cooling grille is at the front, behind the bumper. Check for leaves, debris, anything that's blocking the airflow. If that's clear, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They can check the entire thermal management system.

It was a defective fuse, like you said. Cost 52€ to resolve. Thanks for the help!

That sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Inca, though I can't remember the exact kilometer reading. Is your engine taking forever to warm up too? It might be radiator blockage or something affecting the thermal management system. Check the cooling grille for obstructions.
