No accidents recently. Where was the issue in your Volvo? Was it a faulty airbag sensor or something else?

In my case, the problem stemmed from a loose connection to one of the side impact airbag sensors. Given your vehicle's age and mileage, a cable or plug connection issue is plausible. It's recommended you have a qualified technician inspect the airbag system to pinpoint the precise fault. They have the tools to read the diagnostic trouble codes DTCs and ensure correct airbag deployment in case of an accident.

Took it to the shop, and they found a defective plug connection at the airbag sensor. They charged me 95€ to fix it. Thanks for the advice!

I had a similar issue with my Volvo a while back. The SRS light Supplemental Restraint System, which is what they call the airbag system kept coming on. Has the car been in any minor accidents recently? The airbag sensor might be overly sensitive.
