Seat Leon Brake Pedal Feedback

My 2008 Seat Leon with a diesel engine is exhibiting strange feedback from the brake pedal at 171501 km. I suspect undervoltage. Any ideas before I start tearing into the brake rotors and hydraulic brakes? I do not hear squeaky brakes but something is clearly off.

Summary of the thread

A 2008 Seat Leon with a diesel engine was experiencing strange brake pedal feedback at 171,501 km. The initial suspicion was undervoltage, which could affect the ABS system and alter brake pedal feel. After confirming undervoltage as the cause, components were replaced, resolving the issue.

Strange brake pedal feedback could stem from several issues. Have you checked the brake fluid level and condition? Are the brake rotors visibly worn?

Brake fluid is at the correct level. Rotors show some wear. Undervoltage seems plausible given readings. How might undervoltage affect the metal brakes?

Undervoltage can indeed affect the ABS system, which influences brake pedal feel. If the voltage is unstable, the ABS might engage erratically. I suggest a workshop visit.

Confirmed. It was undervoltage. Had to replace some components. Total cost was 240€ for the repair of the hydraulic brakes. Thanks for the input.
