Seat Leon Cruise Control Failure

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my older Volvo – cruise control packed it in, and a warning light popped up. First thing I'd check is the fuse box; a blown fuse can cause all sorts of havoc. Have you scanned it for error codes using VCDS or similar?

Good shout on the fuse box! I've checked the usual suspects, but I'll give them another look. When you say 'similar issue', was it also a cable fault in the end?

Yeah, mine turned out to be a broken wire going to the cruise control stalk. That's what I meant by a defective cable. If the fuses are all good, I'd suggest getting a proper diagnostic scan done. It'll pinpoint the exact fault. If it's wiring, it can be a pain to trace without the right tools. Might be worth a trip to a trusted workshop; they'll sort it out in no time.

Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on! The faulty system was indeed a defective cable to the cruise control. 95€ later and it's working perfectly again. Thanks for the help!
