Seat Leon Diesel Power Window Issue
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2003 Seat Leon diesel, the power windows stopped working, displaying an error about unsuccessful window regulator initialization. The issue might be related to the window switch not sending signals correctly. A workshop visit resolved the problem by initializing the window regulators, restoring the functionality of the power windows.

I did check the fuses, but not the window switch. How would I go about testing that?

Honestly, I didn't get that far. I suspected the car window switch, but I wasn't 100% sure. I just took it to a workshop to be on the safe side. I hope you can fix it yourself.

Thanks for the help. I took it to a workshop and they managed to initialize the window regulators. Cost me 290€ in the end, but at least the car window controls are working again.

I think I had something similar with my Leon, although I'm not entirely sure. Did you try checking the window switch itself? Maybe it's not sending the signal correctly.
