Thank you for your input. Could you please provide additional detail on how to check the brake sensor connection? I want to ensure I'm performing the inspection correctly before proceeding further.

Okay, yeah, if you already did brake diagnostics and it points to the motor, then it's super likely that's the culprit, I'd say don't mess with it too much. I'm really just a novice when it comes to cars. Honestly, with vehicle safety on the line, especially with brakes, I wouldn't risk making things worse. I really recommend taking it to a proper workshop to get it sorted. Good luck!

Thank you for confirming my suspicions and for the quick response. I took it to a workshop and, as you suspected, the electric motor in the brake calliper was indeed defective. The repair cost was 505€. Vehicle safety is back to normal.

Whoa, electronic parking brake issues are never fun! Had a similar thing happen on my older car, though it wasn't a Seat. I'm no expert, but it really sounds like that electric motor thing you mentioned. But before you go spending serious cash, did you check the brake sensor connection? Sometimes it's just a loose wire causing all the chaos, especially with the error light flashing. It's worth a peek!
