Seat Leon Emergency Call Malfunction Error

I'm officially pulling my hair out! My 2022 Seat Leon hybrid engine is throwing up an emergency call malfunction error. I've got the warning light blazing in the speedometer, and the error message is constantly displayed. Diagnostic check says it's a defective cable or plug connection to the control module. Anyone else seen this SOS signal nonsense?

I had a similar issue with my Leon, although I didn't have quite as many kilometers on the clock. Was the error message constantly on, or did it come and go? Did you try a system reset?

The message is always there, unfortunately. Where is the emergency call control module located? And how did you do a system reset? Maybe I can try that myself before going to the shop.

Yep, sounds exactly like what I experienced. I didn't mess with it myself; I just took it straight to the workshop. They told me it was a known issue with some of the Leons. It's probably best to let them sort it, especially since it involves the emergency call system.

Took it to the workshop as you suggested, and you were spot on! They found a dodgy connection on the emergency call control module. 95€ later, and the error's gone. Thanks a bunch for your help!
