Seat Leon Engine Stalling At Idle

I'm having some trouble with my 2014 Seat Leon with a gasoline engine. The check engine light is on, and the engine stalls at idle. I've also noticed reduced engine power. Mileage is at 101844 km. Could this be a defective fuel volume regulator?

That sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Leon. Check engine light, engine misfire, and the car felt like it was struggling. Did you notice any change in fuel economy?

Fuel economy was definitely worse. How did you resolve your issue? Was it the car sensors?

Yes, that was it exactly. The check engine was related to that. Ultimately, I had to replace the high pressure fuel pump. It's not a cheap fix, I suggest you take it to a workshop as soon as possible.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a mechanic. Turns out the high pressure fuel pump was faulty. Cost me 1510€ for the repair. Ouch!
