Seat Leon Hybrid Air Suspension Problem
Summary of the thread
The 2020 Seat Leon with a hybrid engine experienced an air suspension issue, where the car wouldn't lift and leaned to one side, accompanied by an error message indicating a compressor failure or malfunction. The error suggested a defective cable or plug connection as a likely cause. Upon inspection, it was confirmed that the problem was due to a faulty connection to the compressor, which was repaired by a shop for 95€.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't checked for air leaks myself. Is there a simple way to check that? As for the compressor, I can't hear it running at all when I start the car or when I try to adjust the suspension height.

Given that the compressor isn't running and the error memory points towards a connection issue, it's plausible the compressor itself isn't faulty. However, without a proper diagnostic, it's difficult to be certain. If you are not familiar with electric circuits, I would advise consulting a qualified mechanic to inspect the cable and plug connection. If no connection or short to ground is found, the workshop can replace the compressor.

It was indeed a faulty connection to the compressor, as the error memory suggested! A repair shop fixed the cable connection for 95€.

I understand you're experiencing issues with your vehicle's air suspension. Has the system been inspected for any obvious air leaks around the air struts or other suspension components? Compressor failure is often a symptom, rather than the root cause. Can you confirm whether the compressor is running at all?
