Seat Leon Hybrid Blower Motor Problem

My 2020 Seat Leon hybrid exhibits a non-functional blower motor. Diagnostic scan indicates an AUC sensor fault. The most probable cause is a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered this previously?

Strange, I had a similar issue with my Leon, though it's an older model. The blower motor wouldn't kick in at all. It ended up being related to the HVAC sensor. Have you checked the BMW AUC sensor? It's part of the climate control system, and if it's faulty, it can mess things up. AUC stands for Automatic Air Recirculation. It detects pollutants and adjusts the air intake. I'd start there.

When you say HVAC sensor, are you referring specifically to the AUC sensor, or another sensor within the climate control system?

Yes, I meant the AUC sensor specifically. It's worth getting it checked professionally. The climate control system can be complex, and a faulty sensor can definitely cause the blower motor to fail. Could be a simple fix, or the sensor itself might need replacing. Best to get a workshop to take a look.

Appreciate the insight. Diagnosis confirmed a defective cable to the AUC sensor. Repair cost 95€. All functioning correctly now.
