Seat Leon Hybrid Engine Mount Issue

I've got a 2022 Seat Leon hybrid with about 71397 km on it. Recently, I've been getting an error in the error memory, and the engine idles unevenly. I suspect it might be a defective engine mount, specifically the cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any ideas before I take it to the workshop? Could it also be a transmission mount or motor mount issue?

I observed you are experiencing a similar issue to what I previously encountered with my Seat Leon. While I do not possess the build year information for my vehicle at this moment, the engine mount exhibited similar symptoms. My professional assessment suggests careful examination of the rubber mount for degradation. Have you inspected the cable and plug connection to the component as you hypothesized?

Thanks for the reply. When you had this issue, did the error code specifically point to the engine mount, or was it something more generic? And did you notice any vibrations at higher RPMs as well?

Affirmative. The error code specifically referenced the engine mount. While I did not observe noticeable vibrations at higher RPMs, the uneven idling was quite prominent, particularly during cold starts. Given your description and mileage, it is plausible that the engine mount's rubber mount has degraded. I recommend consulting a qualified workshop for a comprehensive diagnosis and potential replacement.

Took it to the workshop as suggested. It was indeed a defective engine mount. They replaced it, and the error is gone. The uneven idling also disappeared. Total cost was 95€. Thanks for the advice!
