Seat Leon Hybrid Engine Performance Issue

A tractor with a blocked nose, that's exactly how it feels! Where exactly did you find the vacuum leak, and was it easy to spot? I've had a quick look, but everything seems okay at first glance. Any tips on what to look for?

Nah, I didn't find the leak myself. I took it straight to the garage. They said it was a decent sized vacuum leak somewhere in the manifold, messing with the pressure readings. They replaced the pressure sensor too, just to be safe. Honestly, unless you're a proper mechanic, I'd get it checked out. Could be something else entirely affecting the engine performance, and you don't want to start throwing money at random parts. Better to be safe than sorry!

Mate, just got my Leon back from the shop. You were spot on! They confirmed it was the manifold pressure sensor. New sensor and 235€ later, she's running like a dream again! Seriously appreciate you sharing your experience, saved me a ton of guesswork and stress. Thanks!

Sounds suspiciously like the issue I had with my Leon. Same symptoms, check engine light, felt like I was driving a tractor with a blocked nose, and the fuel consumption was horrendous. Have you checked for vacuum leaks? That was the culprit for me, causing the sensor to go haywire.
