Seat Leon Hybrid Issues Tire Pressure ABS and Steering

Quick pressure loss is definitely the case! It's like I fill it up, and the next day BAM, warning light. Makes me think air leak. You mentioned a similar experience... did yours also involve the ABS lamp going crazy and the steering getting super heavy? Was it just a slow leak, or something more dramatic?

Yep, that's exactly what happened to me! The ABS light, the heavy steering, the whole nine yards. It's like a domino effect. The tire monitoring system freaks out because of the pressure loss, which then messes with the ABS and power steering. In my case, it was a faulty valve causing a slow air leak. Get it checked out at a workshop, and tell them to pay attention to the valve!

Took your advice and got the car to my local garage. Turns out it was, as you suspected, a faulty valve in the tire. They replaced it, checked all the other tires, and recalibrated the tire monitoring system. All in, cost me about 280€. Steering is back to normal, no more scary vibrations, and the ABS light is gone. Thanks a million for your help!

Whoa, that sounds eerily familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Leon. My tire pressure kept dropping, triggering the warning, and then the steering started acting up. It felt like wrestling a bear just to turn the wheel! I'd check your tire gauge and see if the pressure loss is consistent and quick. Is it always the same tire that's losing pressure?
