Seat Leon Ignition Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Seat Leon with a gasoline engine is experiencing ignition problems, including failure to start, engine cutouts, and rough running. The issues may stem from the ignition switch, ignition coil, or car electronics. After checking, it was discovered that a blown fuse was the cause, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Where exactly would I find the fuses related to the ignition coil and car electronics in my Seat Leon? Is there a specific fuse number I should be looking for?

Okay, so it could still be the ignition switch, a faulty ignition coil, or even a dodgy sensor throwing things off. Given the age of the car and the symptoms, it might be best to get it checked out by a mechanic. They can properly diagnose the issue and prevent further damage.

Well, I feel a bit silly now. Turns out it WAS just a fuse! 52€ later at the workshop and she's purring like a kitten. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like a potential ignition switch issue. Have you checked the fuses related to the ignition system and car electronics? Also, does the engine crank at all when you turn the key?
