Seat Leon Ignition Problems

I'm at my wit's end. My Seat Leon from 2008 with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. The ignition is playing up something awful. Sometimes the engine just won't start, other times it cuts out while I'm driving, and occasionally it runs really rough. I'm thinking it's something to do with the key turn and the car electronics, maybe even the ignition coil itself. Any ideas?

Sounds like a potential ignition switch issue. Have you checked the fuses related to the ignition system and car electronics? Also, does the engine crank at all when you turn the key?

Where exactly would I find the fuses related to the ignition coil and car electronics in my Seat Leon? Is there a specific fuse number I should be looking for?

Okay, so it could still be the ignition switch, a faulty ignition coil, or even a dodgy sensor throwing things off. Given the age of the car and the symptoms, it might be best to get it checked out by a mechanic. They can properly diagnose the issue and prevent further damage.

Well, I feel a bit silly now. Turns out it WAS just a fuse! 52€ later at the workshop and she's purring like a kitten. Thanks for your help!
