Seat Leon Oil Pressure Warning Light

I'm getting seriously frustrated here. I've got a 2023 Seat Leon, hybrid engine, with about 129667 km on the clock. Recently, the oil pressure warning lamp keeps lighting up, and I'm seeing a warning light on the speedometer. Plugged it into a reader, and it's showing a faulty engine oil temperature sensor. I'm thinking it's probably the cable or plug connection that's defective, you know? Has anyone else dealt with this nonsense?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Leon. The oil gauge was acting up, and the engine temperature warning kept popping on. Was a faulty car sensor. Have you checked the oil sensor connections?

Interesting! Where exactly did you find the faulty connection on the oil sensor? Was it obvious once you located it?

Can't say for sure without looking at it, but it's likely the same issue. The error memory was also pointing to the oil sensor in my case. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They'll pinpoint the issue in no time.

Just a heads-up, the garage found the problem right away! It was exactly what you suspected: a dodgy connection on the oil sensor. 95€ later and all is well. Thanks a million for your help!
