Seat Leon parking assist malfunction

Alright, I'm officially stumped. My 2021 Seat Leon with a diesel engine is giving me grief. The parking assist has completely stopped working, and I'm getting an error message. Diagnostic check says it's likely a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else experienced this, and any ideas where to start looking before I shell out for repairs?

Hey, that sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane a few years back. The parking sensors would randomly go off, or not work at all. Did you check the proximity sensors themselves for any physical damage or debris?

That's interesting! I haven't checked them physically yet. Where exactly are the proximity sensors located, and is it easy to check the blind spot sensors and parking sensors?

Yeah, mine turned out to be a faulty connector, too. It was causing intermittent issues with the obstacle detection. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with car electrics, I'd suggest a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact cable and save you a lot of time and frustration.

Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on! It was a corroded connector on one of the parking sensors. 95€ later, and my parking assist is back in action. Thanks for the help!
