Seat Leon power windows not working

Alright, I'm officially pulling my hair out! My 2020 Seat Leon with a diesel engine has developed a fault with the power windows. None of them work now. I've got an error stored in the error memory, but the garage thinks it might be the power window switch. Before I start ripping apart the door panel, has anyone else had this issue? I'm guessing it's something to do with the window regulator or window track. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Seat Leon. I'd start by checking the window control module and the associated wiring harness. A diagnostic scan should pinpoint the error. The window mechanism itself might be fine; these cars are prone to electrical gremlins.

Thanks, that's helpful. When you say 'window control module', where exactly is that located? And did your power windows fail completely, or was it intermittent?

Mine failed completely. The module is usually integrated within the door panel itself. Given the error code points to the switch, it's a likely culprit. Still, inspect the wiring – corrosion can cause havoc. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, I'd recommend a workshop. Save yourself the headache.

Big thanks for the input. Ended up taking it to a local garage. Turns out the power window switch was indeed faulty. New one fitted, total cost was around 200€. Annoying but at least it's sorted. Appreciate the help!
