Seat Leon Radar Sensor Issues

I'm experiencing issues with my 2021 Seat Leon hybrid. I'm getting an error message in the speedometer, and the error memory indicates a problem with the radar sensor. This is causing failures in various systems, including adaptive cruise and collision avoidance. The mileage is currently at 68828 km. A warning light is illuminated in the speedometer. Could a dirty sensor cause all of these problems?

I own a Seat Leon, and I experienced something similar not too long ago. Various systems were throwing errors, and it was all related to the driving assistance features. Have you considered a simple obstruction? Is the sensor itself clean?

Where is the radar sensor located on the Leon? How would I clean it without damaging it?

The sensor is usually located in the front grille, often near the license plate. I wouldn't recommend messing with it too much yourself, as they can be quite sensitive. In my case, the issue persisted even after I attempted to clean it myself. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they resolved it quickly. Perhaps a professional diagnosis is the best thing to do.

I took the car to the workshop. The radar sensor was dirty. They cleaned it and cleared the error codes. Everything is working now. The total cost was 45€, which is much better than replacing the sensor. Thanks for the help.
