Seat Leon sun blind issue

Alright so I've got a bit of a headache with my 2016 Seat Leon, gasoline engine. The sun blind, you know, the interior accessory for sun protection, has gone kaput. It's stuck! Won't retract or extend. Just sits there mocking me. Plus, there's an error stored in the error memory. I'm thinking it's the motor, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue before I potentially spend a fortune to get it fixed.

I am familiar with this issue. I have a similar Seat Leon. Have you checked the car blind mechanism for any visible obstructions?

Thanks for the quick reply. I visually inspected it and didn't notice anything obvious blocking the car sunshade. Do you think it could still be something minor, or is it likely the motor as the error code suggests?

Based on your description and the error code, the motor is the most probable cause. If visual inspection yields no result, I would suggest consulting a workshop to avoid further damage.

Ended up getting the sun blind motor replaced. Cost me 330€. At least the error memory is clear now and I have full sun protection again.
