Seat Mii Blower Motor Failure

I'm officially pulling my hair out! My 2020 Seat Mii, gasoline engine, with 177260 km on the clock, has decided to give up on blowing fresh air. The blower motor is completely dead. Hooked it up to a diagnostic tool, and it's throwing an error, which points towards a defective blower motor. Could this be the HVAC system's electrical wiring? I'm staring down the barrel of a 365€ repair bill! Anyone else had a similar issue with the air flow?

Sounds familiar! Had the exact same thing happen on my old Renault a while back. Did you check the fuses? That's the simplest thing to rule out first.

Fuses seem fine, checked them already. When you say exact same thing, do you mean the air conditioning was completely dead?

Yeah, completely dead. No fan, no air, nothing. I messed around with it for an afternoon, checking everything I could think of. In the end, I just took it to a workshop. They replaced the blower motor, and that fixed it. Save yourself the headache and just get it checked.

Took the Mii to the local garage, and you were spot on – blower motor was toast. 365€ later, I've got air circulation again! Thanks a million for the help!
