Seat Mii Electric Brake Light Issue
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2020 Seat Mii electric involved an error message on the infotainment display and intermittent brake light functionality. The problem was suspected to be related to a faulty brake light switch, but it was ultimately resolved by adjusting the driver's seating position, which prevented accidental pressure on the brake pedal. This simple adjustment eliminated the error without the need for repairs.

DTCs? CAN bus? What does all that mean? How do I check those? The tail lights all seem to be working fine.

DTCs are Diagnostic Trouble Codes, and the CAN bus is the Controller Area Network – basically how all the car's computers talk to each other. If you are not familiar with OBD diagnostics, then you should probably get it checked at a certified workshop, but from what you are saying this is probably a user error.

Thanks for the help. Turns out I was resting my foot on the brake pedal a little bit. That was enough to trigger the error. I adjusted my seating position and the problem went away. No repair needed, 0€!

Intermittent brake light issues on a 2020 Mii EV? Hmmm. First thing's first: did you scan the car for DTCs? Could be a faulty brake light switch, but I'd want to rule out any CAN bus gremlins first. Also, confirm all your tail light bulbs are functioning correctly. A bad bulb can sometimes throw a spurious code.
